Admissions Process.
Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist School is committed to maintaining a diverse student body. Admissions decisions are made on the basis of a candidate’s individual strengths and talents, potential to thrive, and ability to contribute positively to our community.

- Pay Application fee ($60 – nonrefundable)
- Meet with Administration/Principal (Virtually or In-Person)
- Placement Test (November 12, January 21, March 17, May 19, July 21, September 8 &15)
- Status of Application (accepted or denied) if application is accepted proceed to step 6.

- Recommendation letters from previous school (principal and teacher) if not applicable, recommendation letters from church pastor, and elder or church clerk will be accepted.

- Scheduled Registration Periods:
- PreK & K - (August 19, 2024)
- Grades 1 & 2 – (August 20, 2024)
- Grades 3 & 4 - (August 21, 2024)
- Grades 5 & 6 - (August 22, 2024)
- Grades 7 & 8 - (August 23, 2024)
- Sign contract, pay fees (class dues, book fee, home and school, technology, yearbook, insurance fees, choir dues, music class fee, stem class fee, graduation fee, after-school program, sports dues, and club dues), 1st and last month’s tuition.

2024-2025 Academic Year applications must be submitted on or before September 7, 2024.
This will ensure that your application will be considered during the first round of decisions. Subsequent applications are reviewed on a space available basis. Applications are accepted as long as places are available. Please contact the Office of Admission at 718-859-1313 to inquire about availability after the deadline. Applicants are responsible for meeting all deadlines.
